3 dead in Cavite road mishap

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines  – Three persons died when their motorcycle collided with a car driven by a member of the Philippine Navy’s medical team in Cavite City Monday.

Motorcycle driver Ramon Magluyan, 53, died while being treated at the Philippine General Hospital while his companions, Norman Gavilla and Albert Bobadilla, were declared dead on arrival at the Dra. Salamanca Hospital.

Police arrested Erickson God, 43, driver of a Mitsubishi Lancer (TGI-543), after the accident that occurred in Barangay Dalahican.

God reportedly tried to overtake another vehicle, but rammed the victims’ motorcycle instead.

Charges of reckless imprudence resulting to multiple homicides and damage to property are being readied against the suspect.
