MANILA, Philippines - The operations of the Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) were disrupted for almost an hour on Monday after a crack on the railway in Makati City.
A radio report said that MRT personnel discovered the crack on the southbound railway track between Ayala and Magallanes stations around 8 a.m.
MRT personnel decided to limit the trips from North Avenue station in Quezon City to Shaw Blvd. station in Mandaluyong City because of the damaged portion of the railway system, the report said.
After repairing the damaged track, the normal operations of MRT-3 were restored around 8:50 a.m.
