SARRAT, Ilocos Norte, Philippines – A barangay councilman was arrested in a drug sting here Tuesday night.
Floriano Bolibol Jr. of Baragay San Antonio was collared after he allegedly sold shabu worth P500 to an undercover agent of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency.
The suspect yielded one plastic sachet said to contain dried marijuana leaves worth P300, marked money and two phones.
Bolibol is detained at the Sarrat police station as charges for violating the anti-drug law are readied against him. – Ariel Paolo Tejada
