Friday night traffic update

MANILA, Philippines - As weekend approaches, expect heavy traffic especially during rush hour on both lanes of EDSA.
 
As of 5:30 p.m., traffic is light to moderate on the southbound lane from Balintawak to Trinoma. Heavy traffic builds up from Quezon Ave. to White Plains - Connecticut and Pioneer - Boni to Magallanes. 
 
On the Northbound lane, traffic is ready from Magallanes to New York - Nepa Q-Mart. A vehicular accident between two vehicles occupied one lane in EDSA Magallanes.
 
Traffic is moderate in the C5 area from C.P. Garcia to B. Ilog-Kalayaan. One northbound lane of C5 Libis is occupied due to an accident involving a wing van and a public utility jeep in the area.
 
For those who will go home to the provinces, traffic is generally light in North Luzon Expressway while heavy traffic is observed in the northbound Magallanes, Nichols and southbound Bicutan exits of South Luzon Expressway.
