MMDA advises motorists to avoid QC roads amid repairs

MANILA, Philippines - Motorists are being advised by the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) to avoid roads in Quezon City that will be reblocked and repaired by the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) from 10 pm tonight (Friday) to 5 a.m. on Tuesday.

The MMDA has advised motorists to take alternative routes and avoid:

Araneta Avenue from Maria Clara St. to Quezon Avenue (3rd lane southbound); Fairview Avenue from Fairlane St. to Camaro St. (1st lane southbound); Mindanao Avenue from Catleya St. to Alley 15 (2nd lane southbound); E. Rodriguez Jr. Avenue/C5 Road between Mercury Avenue and Eastwood Avenue (3rd lane from sidewalk southbound);

Quirino Highway from Teacher’s BLISS to Camachile St. (1st lane southbound), CP Garcia Avenue from University Avenue to Maginhawa St. (3rd lane northbound); Batasan Road from San Mateo Road to Filinvest 2 (2nd lane eastbound), and Congressional Avenue Extension/Our Lady’s Court Subdivision to Luzon Avenue (2nd lane eastbound).
