New N. Luzon Navy chief assumes command

SAN FERNANDO CITY, La Union, Philippines – Cmdr. Severino Vicente David on Wednesday took over the Northern Luzon Command of the Philippine Navy based in Poro Point here.
David replaced Cmdr. Nodolfo Tejada who retired on Nov. 5 after serving for 37 years.
Vice Admiral Jesus Milan, the Navy’s flag officer in command, led the turnover ceremony at the Naval Station Ernesto Ogbinar in Poro Point.
