MANILA, Philippines - Fire broke out inside a hospital in Cebu City Tuesday night, forcing around 200 patients to evacuate and transfer to other hospitals.
Reports said that the blaze started around 8 p.m. at the linen department located at the basement of the Cebu Doctors Hospital on Osmena Boulevard.
The flames quickly spread, damaging the generator set and the mainline of the electricity of the facility, reports added.
Firefighters managed to put out the flames 28 minutes later.
No one was initially reported hurt during the fire.
Arson investigators are still looking into the cause of the fire and its extent of damage to the hospital.
