MANILA, Philippines - Operatives of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) on Thursday night nabbed two suspected pimps inside a hotel in Mandaluyong City, rescuing eight minors being offered to clients.
Rolly Batilaran and RJ Bulagot are now facing anti-human trafficking charges, a radio report said.
Reports said that two agents of the NBI Anti-Human Trafficking previously posed as customers transacted with the suspects inside a bar in Mandaluyong, sealing a deal of P1,000 for the service of each girl.
After the undercover agents gave the half of the amount at a bar in Mandaluyong, the operatives met up with the suspects and gave the rest of the money for the girls. At that point, the NBI agents nabbed the two men.
