Cop found dead

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A police officer was found dead with a gunshot wound in the head in Cordon, Isabela yesterday morning.

Senior Police Officer 4 Alex Ulnagan, 41, was found along the highway in Barangay Gayong at around 4 a.m. by a passerby named Roger Millo.

Chief Inspector Rogelio Taliping, town police chief, said Ulnagan was last seen around 3 a.m. on his way home from work. The victim’s service firearm, a 9mm pistol, and money were missing.

Investigators recovered Ulnagan’s empty wallet near his body and a bullet shell for a caliber .45 pistol.
