3 grenade-carrying men in QC face criminal raps

MANILA, Philippines - The Quezon City Prosecutors Office has recommended the filing of criminal charges against the three motorcycle-riding men who were flagged down and arrested for carrying a hand grenade, various fake documents and government IDs.
 
Quezon City Assistant City Prosecutor Chua Cheng recommended the filing of the several charges against Ricardo Ayeras, Andrescio Valdez and Ricky Macapagal for violation of the Comprehensive Firearm and Ammunition Regulation Act, Falsification of Public/Private Documents, Republic Act 10054 (Riding without Helmet), Republic Act 4136 (Riding without License), and Concealing True Name.
 
Last. October 5, police flagged down the three men on board a motorcycle at a checkpoint at the Masambong area.
 
During inspection, authorities discovered a hand grenade, suspected falsified documents and government IDs from the suspects.
