US Embassy in Manila closed Oct. 13

MANILA, Philippines — The embassy of the United States in Manila and all its affiliated offices will be closed to the public on Monday, October 13.
The embassy said in a statement that all its services including visa processing are suspended for the day as the US celebrates the arrival of Christopher Columbus in the Americas in 1492.
It will resume its services on October 14.
Columbus Day is considered a federal holiday in the US.
