3 hurt as bus rams truck in La Union

MANILA, Philippines - Three persons were hurt after a passenger bus collided with a cargo truck in La Union, early Thursday.

The cargo truck was backing up on the national highway in Barangay Urbiztondo in San Juan town when Farinas bus, carrying 25 passengers, slammed onto the vehicle.

The injured passengers were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment.

The passenger bus was reportedly on its way to Manila when the accident happened.

Police are still investigating the incident.
