P3-M shabu seized in Iloilo

MANILA, Philippines - Two women were arrested for possession of more than half a kilo of shabu with an estimated street value of P3 million in a sting operation at a motel in Mandurriao, Iloilo City Tuesday night.

Ana Rosell Parreño and Analyn Caburobias, 22, both residents of Barangay Funda-Dalipe in San Jose, Antique were arrested for allegedly selling a sachet of shabu at Queen’s Court Motel in Barangay Bolilao at around 7:30 p.m.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency regional director Paul Ledesma said the two women had been under surveillance for one month.

Parreño and Caburobias are facing charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act or Republic Act 9165.
