Grenade blast hits Tondo police station

MANILA, Philippines - A grenade explosion struck a police station in Tondo district in Manila on Monday night.

Police said that the fragmentation grenade's explosion left a small crater on Capulong Street just outside the Manila Police District Station 1.

No one was reported hurt from the explosion.

The same station was struck by a grenade explosion last April. A parked sedan and a motorcycle were damaged by the blast.

Police investigators have yet to determine if there is a connection between the two attacks.
