Kidnap suspect nabbed in drug sting

BAYOMBONG, Nueva Vizcaya, Philippines – One of the suspects in the kidnapping of an Indian six years ago was arrested for alleged possession of illegal drugs in a sting here Friday. 

Boyet Jorge was arrested in Barangay Don Domingo Maddela.

Seized from Jorge were five plastic sachets allegedly containing shabu, a caliber .38 revolver and marked money.

Police said the suspect had a standing warrant for his alleged involvement in the kidnapping of an Indian trader in Angeles City in 2008.
