Indian trader snatched in Cavite

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines – An Indian businessman engaged in moneylending was allegedly snatched by six men in front of a hotel in Silang, Cavite, Sunday.

The kidnappers reportedly dragged Ranjit Kumar into a Toyota van as the victim was collecting payment from one of his clients in Barangay Sabutan.

Police officers said they were able to secure a video taken by a closed-circuit television camera installed in the area.

The victim’s family has yet to hear from the kidnappers.
