TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – A seven-year-old boy died when a homemade gun went off as he was playing with it in La Trinidad, Benguet yesterday morning.
Cllezer Jones Mangoyao was declared dead on arrival at the Benguet General Hospital due to a bullet wound in the chest.
Mangoyao’s mother Leticia said she was preparing breakfast when she heard a gunshot from their room in Barangay Pico.
Town police chief Senior Inspector Anderson Mauricio said the gun is owned by Leticia’s partner.
