Samar bettor wins lotto jackpot

MANILA, Philippines - A player from Borongan City in Eastern Samar won the jackpot in the 6/42 lotto draw last Saturday, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

Jose Ferdinand Rojas II, PCSO acting chairman, said the still unidentified player picked the six-digit winning combination, 29-24-01-02-08-20, which has a jackpot of P22.9 million.

Rojas said the player bought two tickets from a lotto outlet in Barangay Baybay.

The 6/42 lotto is drawn every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
