CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, Philippines – A councilor of a town in Bukidnon was shot dead by two motorcycle-riding men as he was on his way to work last Friday.
Geodoro Sulda, 57, of Pangantucan town, was declared dead on arrival at a hospital due to a bullet wound in the face, said case investigator Police Officer 3 Benjamin Aguilar.
Sulda was a member of the municipal board representing indigenous people.
Police have yet to determine the motive for the killing.
