P.2-M reward up for Isabela town exec’s killers
TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines – To speed up the investigation of Jones town treasurer Mario Duerme’s murder, Isabela Gov. Faustino Dy III has offered a P200,000 reward for any information leading to the arrest of the killers.
This developed as Isabela police director Senior Superintendent Sotero Ramos Jr. created a special task group to handle the case of Duerme, who was gunned down by motorcycle-riding men in Santiago City last Friday.
A week before Duerme’s murder, Jones Vice Mayor Florante Raspado accused four men arrested for illegal gun possession in Santiago City as hired killers.
Raspado said the four were out to kill him and other municipal officials.
