P5-M shabu shipment seized in Ozamiz
OZAMIZ CITY, Philippines – Police and anti-narcotics agents seized a kilo of suspected shabu with a street value of around P5 million shipped through a known courier here Tuesday afternoon.
Police were tipped off about the shipment, which arrived on Saturday, but nobody claimed it.
On Tuesday, the police sought a search warrant to compel the courier to hand over the package and declare its content.
The suspected shabu was wrapped in carbon paper and placed in a milk box.
The package was sent from Cubao, Quezon City, to a certain Christina dela Cruz of this city.
Misamis Occidental police director Senior Superintendent Archieval Macala said the name and address of the consignee could be fictitious.
