Suspected hired killers nabbed in Bulacan

CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga, Philippines – An alleged leader of a gun-for-hire group and his four  cohorts were arrested during a raid on their safehouse in Barangay San Gabriel in Sta. Maria, Bulacan yesterday morning. 

Henry Laxamana, 44; Jose Quizon, 25; Raymart Agustin, 24; Michael Pamintuan, 23; and Kevin Pamintuan, 19, were presented during a press conference conducted by Chief Superintendent Raul Petrasanta, Police Regional Office-3 director. 

Petrasanta said the gang members, called the Laxamana Group, engaged in robbery, carjacking, hijacking and gunrunning. 

Confiscated from the suspects were two loaded caliber .45 pistols, several driver’s licenses, a checkbook, two receipts of a pawnshop, and two hand grenades.

A Nissan Sentra car and two motorcycles were also seized from the suspects.
