Ilocos shooting leaves 2 dead

TUGUEGARAO CITY, Philippines   – A couple was killed while their two children survived when unidentified gunmen waylaid them in Solsona town in Ilocos Norte Sunday.

Owen Cariaga, his wife Regelyn and their children were traveling on a motorcycle in Barangay Caringquing when they were attacked, said Solsona police chief Senior Inspector Leonardo Tolentino.              

Investigators recovered several bullet shells for an M-16 Armalite at the crime scene.
