Lawyer gunned down in Rizal

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna, Philippines  – A lawyer was killed while his companions were wounded when motorcycle-riding men shot them in Taytay, Rizal at dawn Sunday.

Rodolfo Felicio, 66, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Taytay Provincial Hospital, where his companions – Rolando Andaya, 38, and Antonio Arcilla, 54, – were also taken for treatment.

Chief Superintendent Jesus Gatchalian, Calabarzon police director, said the victims were asleep in a tent in Barangay San Juan when they were attacked at around 1:30 a.m.

Probers recovered 27 bullet shells for a caliber .45 pistol and nine more for a 9mm pistol at the crime scene.
