LPA expected to cross northern Luzon Sunday
MANILA, Philippines - Portions of Luzon will have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.
"Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms mostly in the afternoon or evening," , the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said in its 5 a.m. forecast.
The low pressure area was estimated at 190 kilometers west of Iba, Zambales.
According to PAGASA's weekly weather outlook issued at 5 p.m. on Friday, the LPA is expected to have crossed the Northern Luzon area by Sunday.
"Weather conditions over the rest of Luzon including Metro Manila will gradually improve, with chances of isolated afternoon or evening rainshowers or thunderstorms," PAGASA added.
