Funeral car hits tourists’ van; 11 injured

ILOILO, Philippines – Ten vacationers bound for Boracay had a brief detour to the provincial hospital when a funeral car sideswiped their L-300 van in Numancia, Aklan Thursday afternoon.

The vacationers, including six children, suffered injuries but refused to be confined as they insisted on pushing through with their Boracay trip.

The driver of the funeral car suffered a fracture on the shoulder and a wound on the head.
