LTFRB lifts GV Florida’s suspension

Reinir Padua - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - The Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has lifted the suspension meted on GV Florida Transport Inc. in compliance with a Court of Appeals ruling.

The board will start returning the yellow license plates of the bus company’s 186 units over the weekend.

Last March, the board suspended the operations of GV Florida’s entire fleet for six months, following the crash of one of its units into a ravine in Bontoc, Mt. Province that left 14 people dead.

LTFRB chairman Winston Ginez said that while they lifted the suspension order, they would continue to seek the reversal of the CA decision.
