MANILA, Philippines - A Hong Kong-flagged bulk carrier ship rescued four Filipino fishermen who had reportedly been floating at sea for a day off Mindoro after their motorized boat’s outrigger broke due to strong winds and rains brought by Typhoon Glenda last Tuesday.
The Philippine Coast Guard said fishermen Antonio Bon, 36; Marjhon Aballe, 21; Jaymar Selen, 18; and Arjay Mojeco, 18, who hail from Occidental Mindoro, were rescued by M/V Pacific Pioneer.
