Foundation seeks to help children

MANILA, Philippines - The Francesca Fu Foundation Inc., which is dedicated to provide health, nutrition, and educational assistance to underprivileged and handicapped Filipino children in rural areas, was officially launched at an event last June 27, 2014 at Marriott Hotel Manila.

Since its registration in the first quarter, the foundation has made efforts to attain its goals.

Businessman Alexander Fu and his wife Antoniette named the foundation after their eldest daughter Francesca as a legacy.

The foundation focuses on educational assistance to grade school pupils, healthcare support for children, help for young persons with disability and mothers, sustainable feeding programs in public schools with high malnutrition, and support for the delivery of quality education in public schools.
