MANILA, Philippines — A member of Tau Gamma Phi fraternity suspected of having involvement in the fatal hazing of a De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde student surrendered to authorities on Tuesday.

The Manila Police District (MPD) said that one of the 15 suspects for the hazing incident that killed 18-year-old Guillo Servando and injured three others over the weekend was placed under custody around noon.

Authorities earlier believed that members of rival fraternity Alpha Kappa Rho were behind the assault on Servando.
