MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Police District has begun examining a footage from security cameras of a condominium along Taft Avenue in Manila in the investigation of the fatal hazing of a De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde student.

The video recorded at 9:34 p.m. shows two young men dragging 18-year-old Guillo Servando, who was then still conscious, out of the elevator of One Archer's Place residential tower. They were accompanied by another boy, who entered the scene of the footage, with a brown backpack and was talking on the phone.

The four young men--Servando, John Paul Raval Lorenza Agustin and a 17-year-old student--were dropped off at the condominium after fraternity initiation rites. The three were believed to be bringing Servando to the 29th floor where the unit of Raval is.

Servando was obviously weak and could no longer stand. His companions were seen trying to put his arms around their necks and shoulders so he could stand and walk to Raval’s unit, but this did not help so they had to drag him.

Shortly after, Servando was admitted to the Philippine General Hospital together with Lorenze Agustin and a 17-year-old student.

The three are believed to be victims of hazing by suspected members of Tau Gamma Phi fraternity, with Servando passing away shortly after the incident. - Camille Diola
