11 fall in Bulacan shabu raid
MALOLOS CITY, Philippines – Eleven people were arrested after the Bulacan police and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency raided a shabu den in Bocaue town late Monday afternoon.
The arrested suspects were identified as Arlan Bantilan, 37; Ricardo Roque, 34; Ricardo Nicolas, 24; Robin de Guzman, 21; Wilfredo Azurez, 32; Jay Aldrin Dizon, 33; Jayson Nicolas, 35; Richard Soliman, 43; Eduardo Tapang, 51; Gary Nicolas, 39; and Raul Nicolas, 47, whose house in Barangay Caingin served as shabu den.
Superintendent Nathaniel Villegas, Bocaue police chief, said the raid, which was conducted after poseur buyers purchased P500 worth of shabu, yielded 23 plastic sachets of suspected shabu, a small marijuana brick and drug paraphernalia.
Police said charges were being readied against the 11 suspects.
