City hall worker gunned down in Muntinlupa - report

MANILA, Philippines - A motorcycle riding gunman shot dead an employee of the Muntinlupa City Hall Wednesday dawn.

Quoting investigators, a radio report said Wilfredo Pastrana, a personnel at the city assessors office, came from a bar when two men riding a motorbike  together approached his side along  the National Road of Brgy. Putatan, Muntinlupa.

One of the suspects drew a gun and shot the victim, who died instantly from several gunshot wounds, the report said.

Police later recovered six empty shells of a cal.45 pistol at the scene.

Authorities are still investigating the case.
