6-year-old, two other minors caught peddling drugs

NORTH COTABATO - Police on Monday night arrested a six-year-old child and two other minors during a drug bust in Kabacan town.

The three minors were arrested with 20-year-old Alvin Alamada during a buy-bust operation conducted jointly by members of the local police offices of Kabacan and Midsayap town and the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group led by Senior Inspector Doren Mauricio.

Mauricio said the four suspects were arrested while handing over shabu to undercover policemen.

He said that the shabu sold to the undercover policemen were kept in the six-year-old child's school bag.

The three minors will be turned over to the local office of the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
