Body of missing tourist recovered - report

MANILA, Philippines - Authorities have recovered the body of a missing tourist who went on a white water rafting adventure in Cagayan de Oro City last Friday.

Reports said that rescue and retrieval teams found the body of Aiza Balbin under a boulder in Kabula River around 11 a.m. Sunday.

Balbin's three companions and a river guide were rescued safely after their rubber boat tilted and sunk, reports added.

Balbin, 26, a school nurse at the Holy Name University based in Tagbiliran City, Bohol, was with her boyfriend when the accident happened.
