MANILA, Philippines - A moderate earthquake struck off Davao Occidental, before dawn Monday.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said the quake was measured at 4.5 magnitude.
It struck 38 kilometers southeast of the town of Jose Abad Santos, at around 2:50 a.m.
Phivolcs said it does not expect aftershocks or damage from the quake.
