Eva Visperas - The Philippine Star

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – The National Grid Corp. of the Philippines (NGCP) has scheduled power outages today and tomorrow that would affect at least 10 towns in Pangasinan.

In an advisory, the NGCP said today’s three-hour power interruption, from 9 a.m. to noon, will affect Mangaldan town, as selected line hardware along the Manaoag-Mangaldan 69-kilovolt (kV) line segment will be replaced.

Tomorrow, a two-hour power outage from 6 to 8 a.m. will affect the towns of Malasiqui, San Carlos, Binmaley, Lingayen, Bugallon, Aguilar, Mangatarem, and Urbiztondo and parts of Basista town, as a critical hot spot along the Labrador-Binmaley 69kV line will be corrected.

The NGCP said normal operations will immediately resume after work on the power lines is completed.

The NGCP advised its customers and the general public to take the necessary preparations and precautions for the scheduled power interruptions.
