QC police ready raps vs shooting spree suspect, 4 others
MANILA, Philippines - Police are set to file criminal charges against five people arrested for their alleged involvement in a shooting spree in Quezon City on Sunday, where seven people were killed.
Senior Inspector Maricar Taqueban, Quezon City Police District Public Information Office head, said that only one of the five suspects identified as Alsaid Mindalano, will be slapped with multiple murder charges for the shooting spree in North Fairview.
Taqueban said that Mindalano, 28, is the owner and driver of the motorcycle used in the deadly shooting.
The other suspects arrested by the police during a raid at a subdivision were Bochary Mindalano, 32; Mangoatawar Monib, 31; Ahmad Madkadato, 18; and a 16-year-old boy.
The four suspects will be charged for illegal possession of firearms and ammunition, possession of illegal drugs and direct assault charges.
The teenager will be turned over to the Department of Social Welfare and Development.
