Ma, son killed in Dasmariñas City fire

MANILA, Philippines - A woman and her son were killed after they were trapped inside their burning house in Cavite on Tuesday dawn.

Initial report from the Cavite Provincial Police Office identified the fatalities as Susan Reglos and her son John Joey.

Report said that the blaze started around 3 a.m. at Brgy. Sta. Fe, Dasmariñas  City, Cavite, where four houses were razed to the ground, including that of the victims.

Firefighters managed to put out the flames 45 minutes later.

Arson investigators have yet to determine the cause of the fire and the extent of the damage.
