Heavy traffic on May 9 in QC on INCs evangelical mission

Dennis Carcamo - The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Expect heavy traffic Friday next week along Quezon Avenue as religious group, Iglesia Ni Cristo, is set to stage another evangelical mission.

Based on the traffic advisory of the Quezon City government, the INC's Lingap Pamamahayag will be conducted on May 9 at the Amoranto Sports Complex.

From Mother Ignacia to Scout Reyes, streets will be open only to one-way traffic beginning noon on May 9, the advisory said.

"The traffic scheme shall remain in effect for the duration of the INC event,  which will also coincide with the eve of the 128th birth anniversary of INC's founder and first executive minister Felix Manalo," it added.

As this developed, the city government is now preparing its traffic and security plans in coordination with the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority and police and barangay personnel to ensure the orderly movement of participants and vehicles in the area.
