2 cocaine bricks remain missing

DAVAO CITY, Philippines   â€“ Only two bricks of high-grade cocaine remain missing after a man turned over two more bricks to authorities over the weekend.

The two bricks was part of 62 others recovered by the authorities from a van parked at the Sumifru Wharf in Barangay Tibungco in this city more than two weeks ago.

Joseph Jaime dela Fuerte, 27, turned the cocaine bricks over to  Task Force Davao Cocaine operatives.

Dela Fuerte was reportedly accompanied by his uncle Celiz dela Fuerte and Leonard George Carillo, an agent of the Bureau of Customs, when he surrendered the drugs to Bunawan police station commander Chief Inspector Simplicio Sagarino Jr.

Sagarino presented Dela Fuerte to Davao City police director Senior Superintendent Vicente Danao Jr.

The two bricks, reportedly weighing over two kilos, was said to be worth more than P13 million.
