Ed Amoroso - The Philippine Star

CAMP VICENTE LIM, Laguna , Philippines   â€“ Rubylita Garcia, a tabloid reporter and radio blocktimer killed in an attack in Cavite last week, will be buried this afternoon at the Trinity Garden in Bacoor City.

Her colleague, Rosell Calderon said the remains of the slain reporter were brought to the National Press Club (NPC) building in Intramuros, Manila Sunday night.

“This is the last day for Garcia’s wake. There will be a funeral parade and mass before the burial (this) afternoon,” Calderon said.

The parade, which will start from the NPC building and end at Chino Roces Bridge, will be attended by members of various media organizations, including the Police Regional Press Corps 4-A.

The funeral marchers will wear white T-shirts marked “Justice for Ruby Garcia” and a black ribbon around their left arm, Calderon said.
