Kudarat mayor faces suspension

KORONADAL CITY, Philippines – The Sultan Kudarat provincial board has passed a resolution recommending the imposition of six-month suspension against Mayor Diosdado Pallasigue of Isulan town for continually defying the memorandum circular issued by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

The CSC has ordered Pallasigue to reinstate engineer Elias Segura as municipal planning and development coordinator and pay all the benefits denied from him after the mayor removed him from his position two months ago.

It was reportedly the second time that the board recommended Pallasigue’s suspension.
