Traffic enforcer nabbed in drug bust

DAGUPAN CITY, Philippines – A lady traffic enforcer was arrested in an anti-narcotic operation on Burgos street here on Friday, police reported yesterday.

Librada Biay, 39, of the Public Order and Safety Office, was arrested after she reportedly sold a sachet of shabu to a police undercover agent said Superintendent Christopher Abrahano, city police chief.

Investigation showed an informant tipped off the police that the suspect was allegedly selling illegal drugs while doing her duties in the Task Force Anti-Colorum.

The drug sting was conducted with the help of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency regional office, Abrahano said.
