Police arrested Royette after he allegedly shot at the house of his neighbors, Efren David and Evelyn Bernardo, in Redwood Villas here on Saturday. Royette was expected to post bail yesterday.
The Bernardos were preparing dinner when Royette reportedly called Evelyn from the other side of the fence. Evelyn said he fired his gun when she did not come out and tried to enter the house.
The complainants said the incident traumatized their daughters, aged eight and 11.

Evelyn told probers she did not respond to Royette’s calls, as she knew he was armed. She said he sounded drunk.
