John Unson - The Philippine Star

COTABATO CITY, Philippines – The chairman of the largest faction of the Moro National Liberation Front (MNLF) is now recovering after he was injured in a vehicular accident in Datu Anggal town in Maguindanao last Friday.

Muslimin Sema, former vice mayor of Cotabato City, is in stable condition and pronounced out of danger, according to his wife, Maguindanao first district Rep. Sandra Sema.

“No brain damage. No fractures. In stable condition,” Mrs. Sema told The Star in a text message.

Sema and his companions were en route to Cotabato City from South Cotabato when a cargo truck collided with the black Toyota Grandia van they were riding.

Sema’s aide, Datu Bonbon, died in the accident.
