Mild quake hits Cagayan

MANILA, Philippines - A 4.3 magnitude earthquake struck off Calayan town in Cagayan province, before dawn Thursday.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration said that quake struck at 3:41 a.m., 200 kilometers northwest of Calayan.
The quake's depth was estimated at 29 kilometers.
The agency said it does not expect aftershocks.
