Binay daughter wins condo unit in Rockwell raffle
MANILA, Philippines - Makati 2nd District Rep. Mar-Len Abigail Binay won a property in a Rockwell condominium through a Power Plant Mall Christmas grand raffle.
The upscale mall located in Poblacion, Makati announced that Abigail won the unit on its Facebook page on Sunday.

"Congratulations to our 2013 Grand Raffle winner!" the post said.
Binay won one of the smallest residential units at The Grove, a residential complex along C5 in Pasig and close to commercial centers, malls and the Ortigas business district. The new studio unit is worth P5 million.
In a radio report, Binay confirmed having received the key to the unit. She said that she still has to pay P800,000 in gift tax.
Netizens, however, contested the raffle results and said that it discourages others to join the shopping center's contests in the future.
"Am I reading this right? Cong. Abby Binay won your grand raffle? As if they still need additional assets to their burgeoning wealth," Facebook user Mel Banico posted.
Netizen Clement Te also said: "[This] (makes) me think twice on joining the Powerplant Mall raffles in the (coming) years."
