American fugitive nabbed in Zamboanga
ZAMBOANGA CITY - An American fugitive has been arrested in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte by joint Philippine and US security service personnel, according to a police official Friday.
Chief Inspector Ariel Huesca, spokesman of Police Regional Office 9 (PRO), identified the wanted foreigner as Donald Lloyd Warren, 70, married, American national, a native of Paris, Texas, USA, who temporarily resides in Sitio Gampis, Barangay Sicayab, Dipolog City.
Huesca said the American fugitive was arrested during a joint operation of the Bureau of Immigration’s fugitive search unit intelligence, criminal fraud investigator regional security office-overseas criminal investigations, Dipolog City police and accompanied by Special Agent Carlos John of the US Department of State overseas criminal investigation and diplomatic security service based at the US embassy in Manila.
The arresting team carried the arrest warrant against Warren at his residence Tuesday afternoon.
Huesca said Warren was ordered arrested by courts in Texas for the crimes of Child Indecency and theft.
The arrested American citizen was temporary detained at the Dipolog City Police Station pending a deportation order from the US embassy.
