Taguig cops give condo admin, security 2nd ultimatum on Vhong case
MANILA, Philippines - The Taguig City police has given the security personnel and administrator of the condominium Forbeswoods Heights until Tuesday morning to surrender documents and CCTV footages relevant to the case of TV host Vhong Navarro.
Taguig police chief Senior Superintendent Arthur Felix Asis said they have given the personnel of the Megaforce Security Agency up to 9 a.m. to submit the CCTV video clips that may help the investigators on the case of Navarro.
The Megaforce Security is the agency managing the security of the condominium building in Taguig City.
Police earlier gave the security agency until 6 p.m. Monday to submit the documents and the clips.
Asis said that police would file necessary charges against the security personnel and building administrator if they fail to comply with the second ultimatum.
Navarro was brought to the police by Cedric Lee's group and Deniece Cornejo on the night of January 22.
Lee's group claimed that they mauled the TV host after catching him in the act of forcing himself to Cornejo.
Navarro, meanwhile, claimed that Lee's group was trying to extort money from him.
The National BUreau of Investigation is also conducting an investigation on the incident.
